The beginnings or research for my final major project. This will be to create interactive works that can be used in a home environment to bring out the child in people. I want to enable people to have fun in the home with everyday products. 

Today was an absolutely amazing experience at the Goldsmiths Education Centre. I was recently awarded second place in the Young Designers Silversmiths Competition which is run by The Goldsmiths Company. As part of this award I have been privileged to spend a day touring the workshops with curator Rosemary Ransome-Wallis and talking to silversmiths Clive Burr and Grant MacDonald. Over a wonderful lunch I was able to ask a wealth of questions regarding silver, business and the industry in general. Hopefully this won't be the last time I have the opportunity to pick the brains of these experienced and successful people.
